This is a set of shelving with hidden storage underneath that I've designed and manufactured for a client in Los Angeles, California. The design was developed from the client's notion of something at once eclectic and fun though unified and strong in appearance. Various module sizes are arranged to increase density of material in some regions and decrease in others, while maintaining overall balance. The long, low, thin modules are installed as pedestals with storage hidden behind wooden gliding doors. The composition is intended to bring formal levity to the display of curios sentimentals and reading material.
